What your depth really means
Six fixed tiers turn a correct answer into a small underwater journey.
Points become metres
Every accepted answer has one of six point values: 10, 15, 30, 60, 85, or 100. Each point becomes ten metres of depth. Seven top-tier answers produce 700 points and 7,000 metres.
These are game distances, not a claim that the scene is a diving simulator. The underwater setting makes progress visible; it does not change how an answer is checked.
Understand the estimate
Scores are editorial familiarity estimates assigned to the versioned question bank. They are not sampled from a room of players and do not change when another player submits the same name.
A familiar answer to an expert can still receive a high tier. People have different backgrounds, and no fixed scale can perfectly describe every audience. Use scores as game feedback, rather than as a verdict on how obscure you are.
Compare like with like
A daily game gives everyone the same seven questions for a UTC date, so it provides a shared challenge. Practice mixes depend on the selected pool and your browser history.
Share your seven tier symbols and total depth without revealing the prompts or answers. That preserves the discovery for friends who have not played yet. Your personal best belongs to your anonymous browser identity.
